Avieon offers the next generation of silicon-proven IP for
the multimedia revolution, enabling high quality multi-media content on
a wide variety of mobile devices. Avieon licenses breakthrough multi-media
and wireless signal processors intellectual property (IP) that
handle compute-intensive video & wireless tasks at very low-power levels

Avieon’s next generation offerings enable OEM,ODM, semiconductor and
SoC companies to quickly address emerging markets with solutions that provide
a significantly enhanced audio and video experience at much lower manufacturing
cost. Avieon’s programmable solution is optimized for processing multiple
broadcast and internet video standards and accommodates support for new
and evolving standards.
Avieon’s patent-pending dataflow multi-media signal processor, the Neuron
MSP, is based on the architectural breakthroughs by a team of highly
skilled architects and includes a unique SIDO (same instruction, different
operation) architecture particularly useful for video and wireless applications.
Target applications range from mobile / smart phones, video surveillance,
video conferencing to the highest-quality HDTV. Avieon IP allows portable
device manufactures to answer the ever-increasing demand for Mobile TV,
Mobile gaming and other video capability and wireless bandwidth with programmable,
rapidly marketable solutions that are still very power stingy even in the
face of evolving new standards. MSPs are sold as silicon-proven IP with
complete reference implementations including major embedded processors and
software implementations of the major audio, video and wireless algorithms,
including H.264, WMV9, FFT and others. The patent-pending SIDO architecture
will be further licensed to major processor and DSP manufacturers to bolster
multi-media performance of existing processor designs.
